Delete my data

You can delete your Kargit account and the data linked to it at any time, yourself and immediately, including if you signed in with Google or Facebook.
1. Deleting your account from the app
- Sign in to Kargit using the same method as usual (email and password, Google or Facebook).
- Click your name in the top right-hand corner to open ‘My profile’.
- Click ‘Delete my account’, below ‘Sign out’, then confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account cannot be recovered afterwards.
2. If you can no longer sign in
Write to us at contact@kargit.fr from your account's email address, asking for it to be deleted. We will do so within one month at most and confirm this to you by email. If the request does not come from the account's email address, we may ask you to prove your identity.
3. What is deleted, and what is kept

4. If you signed in with Google or Facebook
Deleting your Kargit account (section 1) erases the data that Kargit holds. You can also remove Kargit's access to your Google or Facebook account, from their own settings:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/connections, choose Kargit, then delete the connection.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites, choose Kargit, then ‘Remove’.
Removing this access prevents you from signing in to Kargit by this method, but does not delete your Kargit account: to do that, follow section 1 first, or write to us (section 2).
